"We loved our stay at the Hotel Zelos. The rooms were clean and neat and the bed was so comfortable. The front staff was very friendly. Our only issue was with the staff in the dirty habits restaurant. They were very inattentive and slow to serve. But overall the hotel is an excellent place to stay in the downtown area. We saw lots of interesting people on the streets but never felt unsafe."

"We had a double room above 30th floor, with awesome city views - we could see Alcatraz and peek at both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. We were right by the elevators and while I could hear them, I was so tired from days that they didn't keep me up or wake me up, but that might be a problem for some. Great lobby and lounge/bar downstairs to meet with friends before heading out."

"When we checked in there was a $150 safety deposit we didn’t know about and honestly in the end we regret not spending that on a different hotel. It’s not the worst but there are for sure better ones. The shower drain was completely clogged with hair when we tried to take showers, had to dig it out. The hardwood floors were nice enough but they just cut the carpet around the beds so there’s jagged pieces of carpet sticking out from underneath. The window just didn’t have the ability to open like...
