"Ann and Colin were perfect hosts. So warm and friendly and even left a welcome basket full of thoughtful treats. Flat is so much better than the pictures portray. Spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay in the area. Highly recommend. Very convenient for all the new forest walks. The grounds are delightful and the garden is stunning. Nice little area to sit and enjoy the sun. Although the flat is joined to the flat we felt we had privacy. Thanks again for a lovely stay....

"My partner and I spent a few days at Carol's beautiful home. She has created such a wonderful place to stay. We particularly loved the effort Carol has put into helping guests get out and explore the stunning local area with even small laminated cards with walking suggestions! "We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub. "Very clean & well presented. The weather was very cold for time of year & the flat was chilly. It would have been nice to have been able to turn heating on or have a background heater. "Cute property, great layout for 2 people, very quiet. It is a bit out of the center of things. Not a big deal in good weather but when pouring rain at night it is a slog. Groceries nearby, super friendly pub next door - but you don’t hear it in the flat. Motion detector lights out front go out very fast and the place could use a bit of refurbishing. But overall a pleasant stay!"

The apartment was roomy and well appointed and Siobhan our host had provided some thoughtful welcome items in the fridge which were well appreciated. "Lovely place but dreadful if you need to communicate while on vacation. We found some very dirty kitchen items and many broken this & that's. Kitchen lamp not working, bedside light buzzing all night, showers need descaling as do not work properly. Etc ..... could do with a proper check over and upgrade. Also, please don't say you have wifi in here on your advert .... it is intermittent at best so be honest and your customers may not feel cheated into choice as we do ....."

"I honestly have nothing but wonderful things about the Natterjack. The grounds and rooms were amazing, the food just so good, and the restaurant and pub were just lovely. Besides all that, the staff and owner were just the best people. The owner, Adrian, assisted us with getting a ride more than once and even gave us a ride himself. We would have been lost without his kindness. 100000/10 stars, highly recommend to a friend. Before you book, make sure you check out their website as there is a lot more details available there. Amazing stay during an amazing trip, if you’re considering booking, you should. It’s worth it."
