"Although this is a hotel, its more of a restaurant with rooms now. So it was quite noisy and busy in the evenings, with live music on one evening. However the music/bar closes promptly at a reasonable hour so not a huge problem. The staff are lovely and the restaurant food was fabulous. So much so that we ate far too much...It sits on the cliff top and we were able to hear the waves crashing overnight to lull us too sleep, not our first stay and wont be the last. "

Perfect for a short break in celebration of a special birthday. We were a family of 6 aged 22-82 and it was perfect for us. Somebody even ordered beautiful sunny weather for us too!! 😄"

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Located for easy access to Bath and the Cotswolds ... would absolutely stay there again. The conservatory, with its wonderful views, was our favorite place to eat, hang out and play cards. It was simply beautiful!"

"Merv, met us when we got to the house. Clear instructions given of checking in. Four of us stayed here to catch up. We had a curry from the Indian in Wincanton which was delivered and very tasty. The beds were comfortable, two rooms with double beds, one can be converted to a twin if needed and another room with a single bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over the bath, sink and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. We had a walk round Wincanton, there is a Co-op which was open...

It would have been nice to have a Christmas tree for them so instead we lugged their presents in the car to open in Wells. "Clean, comfortable, well equipped, no screaming children or barking dogs.. Good views when it was not raining or foggy. Poor lighting in the seating area- had to use torches to read by and bathroom could do with a shaving mirror Unlikely to return as poor approach road bad for car suspension and old bones"

"A great stay in a convenient location for myself, wife, and two adult children. Home was easy to find and spotlessly clean. The facilities included two bathrooms (one had a bath but no shower) as well as fast WiFi and a good-sized TV. Communication with the host was always incredibly fast and I even messed up the payment schedule and they were understanding. "Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend!"

"Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you!"
