Everything

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

Superb setting very unique. Lovely staff & service . We enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly located in the centre of Salisbury, right next to the cathedral close, short walk to the city centre, comfortable and welcoming. Had to check out early due to a positive Covid test, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would certainly visit again. Thank you.

Our visit was just overnight. The location of Woodfalls Inn was perfect for us as we visited people/places in Southampton, Salisbury and Fordingbridge. Perfect if you are visiting the New Forest. Everything in the hotel felt new and pristine. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The price was very competitive compared to other places we looked at in the area. Certainly one we will remember for when we are next down that way.

A lovely stay at the Pembroke Arms. There was plenty of free parking to the rear of the Inn. Reception was efficient and friendly. Our room - two double beds so for four people - was large and comfortable with lovely touches like TeaPig teas and ground coffee. The room itself was quite cold but reception turned the heating up for us and it was a really cold day so no complaints. We ate in the hotel that evening - a really nice restaurant and delicious (massive) pies. Breakfast was one of the...

Clean room, friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Perfect location opposite Salisbury Cathedral in a very quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Lovely architecture. Helpful staff. This place is basically like staying in a well maintained UK boarding school - but with a little bar and good wifi. The rooms do not have TVs

Lovely rural location but easy access to Salisbury and Portsmouth plus very close to Peppa Pig World, if that's your thing. Rooms were lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the Indian restaurant located next door and it was fantastic. Totally recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

Excellent hotel, super friendly staff and food superb

Loved everything about this hotel. Lovely thoughtful touches in the room - fan, radio, chocolate, nice shower products. Very comfortable and clean.

Staff were amazingly helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend The Palmerston Rooms. The property is in a great location in the middle of town, perfect for an event we were attending at Romsey Abbey. The room was immaculate, comfortable and had all the amenities required. The owners were very helpful and provided a great breakfast. This is an extremely well run business, and we will definitely return for future visits. Thank you for making g our stay so seamless - a great experience @
