From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub.
We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped.
We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included.
We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer.

The Inn was clean and tidy, room was nice and the dogs had a welcome pack. Staff friendly, food was lovely and catered for gluten and dairy free. I took my own lactose free milk. Breakfast wide choice.
The only thing which would have been an added bonus was to have some grass or astro turf for the dogs to use. There was no grassed area in easy walking distance that we found.

Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

Everything is about quality over quantity from the number of rooms to the very well prepared meals, which clearly use the best ingredients.
Limited facilities, but this is part of the charm. The owners and waitress were always on hand to ensure satisfaction and are very friendly.
Not suitable for younger children, which will suit many older people looking for a few days of tranquility away from busy lives.

Spacious accommodation in the Flat, plenty of room to unwind with my two dogs who were a little wound up after the long drive.
