"We booked 2 nights to view the eclipse lakeside and it did not disappoint! The photos online, although quite beautiful, do not fully capture the beauty of this place. Gorgeous views overlooking the Vermont mountain range and lake Placid. The house is well appointed with everything you need, small exception of the coffee maker. Our guests did feel comfortable with the cleanliness. Suggest maybe an upgrade to a Kureig. Other than that the property is a 10 out of 10. There are two access points to...

"Our son goes to UVM and felt like exploring the area beyond Burlington. This was the perfect location for us to make day trips to bike the Colchester Causeway, get fresh apple Cider, take walks by the lake and see Montreal. The cottage is cozy and cute with lots of thoughtful touches, including robes, slippers, toiletries, local snacks and more. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who our son no doubt missed more than us! Highly recommend!"

"My daughter and I were in town for a college visit and could not have been more pleased with our stay and it’s proximity to downtown and to her college. Woodie and Bill were extremely attentive and so kind. The suite was very nice and clean. We will be returning."

The accommodations are comfortable and the hosts were thoughtful and considerate, providing everything we could need. They were very friendly, as were the surrounding neighbors. Great place to kick back and relax with friends!"

"Access to the lake was key! If you are a light sleeper this property may not be for you as it is on a main road. It didn’t bother me when I used a white noise machine. I would recommend this to smaller groups, no more than four, due to size."
