"Tucked away, this farmhouse is just superb! Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was the most powerful I’ve ever enjoyed! Kirsty and Neil are good hosts, ready to offer recommendations if asked, but will leave you to yourselves if you prefer. They keep pigs and chickens, which we were lucky enough to feed, and I can report that the sausages, bacon & eggs at breakfast were very tasty! Added bonus of homemade cakes left out, delicious! "Very interesting place which is full of history. Parts of the house are asking for refurbishment and it is a bit of "work in progress" but the bedrooms are nicely decorated, very clean and have excellent underfloor heating installed. The service is fantastic and food is delicious. The location is a bit remote but that is an advantage if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. There are nice pubs, restaurants and coffee shops in the area if you don't mind driving a bit. All in all, a place...
