Very comfortable hotel, great for families

Posted 06-Jun-2017
Wonderful stay at the hotel, this is a great base for families to go exploring, close to the centre of Sorrento. Very handy car park at the back, ask for a room at the front. The 'sister' hotel is lovely, fantastic pool and bathing jetty and amazing views. The staff are lovely and very helpful with lots of local information. Would highly recommend.

A quiet retreat

Posted 26-May-2017
Pros: The staff was really pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Mattresses were okay but not particularly comfortable.
Location: On a side street within two blocks of main street so the hotel was quite quiet.
We liked this hotel because it's not in the midst of the busy tourist area yet walkable to those areas. Our room also had a huge balcony, which was very pleasant to sit on.

Convenient Location and Nice Place to Stay

Posted 22-May-2017
We stayed in the end of April 2017 for a week. The apartment is very clean, spacious and modern. A compact kitchen, with everything needed for self-catering, inside the very big sitting room. Very big and comfortable bed in the bedroom and a large sofa bed in the sitting room, both rooms have balcony with electric shutter blind for the French door. All staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. On our arrival, everything we needed were all well introduced /explained - we felt very welcome. A short and easy walking distance to train/bus station, restaurants, supermarket, and old town, as well as to the sea front and ferry port to Capri etc. Definitely recommend!

Central self catering apartment

Posted 30-Oct-2016
Pros: Just a few minutes walk to the square and marina. Lovely restaurants and patisseries nearby. Able to use the swimming pool at the riviera hotel
Cons: Rude receptionist when booking in -bad first impression! All other hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Charges for using hotel riviera
Location: 5 minutes walk to train station and local buses for Pompeii and amalfi coast. Limoncello tasting in old sorrento.
Clean, modern apartment with everything you need. Down side- poor wifi.

Comfortable, well-located,reasonably priced

Posted 12-Sep-2016 on Hotels
Comfortable apartment well-located reasonably priced. We liked the balcony with small table and two chairs for sitting and sipping in the early evening. The street below has small businesses with people coming and going for some people-watching. Traffic did not bother one when the balcony doors shut at night. Wifi worked. There is a 10-12 min. walk to Tasso square in center but it's worth it to avoid constant tour buses and groups. The hotel parking is 15 euro per day and worth it. You have a key to front entrance if the desk is not manned.
