Central self catering apartment

Posted 30-Oct-2016
Pros: Just a few minutes walk to the square and marina. Lovely restaurants and patisseries nearby. Able to use the swimming pool at the riviera hotel
Cons: Rude receptionist when booking in -bad first impression! All other hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Charges for using hotel riviera
Location: 5 minutes walk to train station and local buses for Pompeii and amalfi coast. Limoncello tasting in old sorrento.
Clean, modern apartment with everything you need. Down side- poor wifi.

Comfortable, well-located,reasonably priced

Posted 12-Sep-2016 on Hotels
Comfortable apartment well-located reasonably priced. We liked the balcony with small table and two chairs for sitting and sipping in the early evening. The street below has small businesses with people coming and going for some people-watching. Traffic did not bother one when the balcony doors shut at night. Wifi worked. There is a 10-12 min. walk to Tasso square in center but it's worth it to avoid constant tour buses and groups. The hotel parking is 15 euro per day and worth it. You have a key to front entrance if the desk is not manned.

Clean, modern and charming staff.

Posted 23-Jun-2016
Pros: Clean and modern throughout including the bathroom (which was very clean). Room is quiet and spacious all the things needed to enjoy your stay.
Cons: If there's any cons to be said, The bed was quite firm and the fridge could have been colder for chilling things.
Location: Town is close by with a bar round the corner. Shops and restaurants are plentiful as well as the coast which is about a 20min walk.
Apartment was spacious and very modern. Clean throughout and staff at the desk were very helpful. The location was a short walk to the town centre with a bar next door that served pizza, which was most convenient for a night in. Location was quiet inside and providing the balcony doors were closed room was soundproofed. Myself and my girlfriend enjoyed the entire week and would highly recommend Rota Suites to anyone staying in Sorrento. As an added plus, when I accidentally left my glasses in the room when we left and travelled back home; the people at Rota Suites were very kind to mail them back to me :)

I had a great time at the Rota Suites. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are clean/well decorated and comfortable. They are self catering apartment style rooms with some hotel luxuries such as room safe/concierge/toiletries/cleaning etc. So if you're looking for the hotel experience-try Rota Suites' sister hotel "The Hotel Riviera" around the corner which was also wonderful.
