Great for gluten free!
Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the busy main square where there are loads of restaurants and shops.
The restaurant staff were fantastic. My husband is a coeliac and it was very important that he had gluten free food. The staff knew exactly what he could have and there was an extensive choice, including chips fried in a dedicated GF fryer which was luxury as this is very difficult to find in the uk! He got his own plate at breakfast with GF cereal, bread, cake and biscuits. They also GF pasta but not pizza and several salads, ommelettes and other things.
The maids were very friendly and did an excellent job working hard all day. The room was always immaculate. The bar staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Only slight problem was that we were in Sorrento as part of a large group attending a wedding and when my cousin came over to our hotel to spend a couple of hours with us, the lady on reception told us, quite snottily, that he was not allowed to use the pool. This is a shame as we went to other people's hotels and didn't have any problems. There was also some confusion over booking a taxi to the airport on the way home. The guy was new and did eventuay get us on a shuttle bus so all turned out OK.
Being able to use the 'beach' (a pier) at the nearby hotel so we could swim in the sea was brilliant.
Overall we had a great stay at this hotel.
