Just perfect

Ideal location for visiting all the local sights (10 minute walk to the local train which we used to visit Pompeii etc) as well as being close to fabulous restaurants, especially down on the Grand Harbour bay. Small pool on the roof overlooking the coast, wonderful views including Mount Vesuvius. Large pool on the ground floor. Staff were always extremely friendly. Definitely happy to recommend.

very nicely appointed, great staff, clean and comf

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Pros: clean, airy, nice bar and restaurant, very nice spacious rooms. excellent staff.
Cons: it could be moved to the beach....but then it's sister hotel is just that and only 200yds away.
Location: linked hotel nearby has lovely private beach. Sorrento central 10mins walk with great food and shopping.
Stayed for a week before heading south. Hired boat to go round Capri which is a better bet than the ferry/skippered boat trip option. Driving to positano and amalfi is quite hairy and stupidly busy in august with barely anywhere to stop. Ravello is lovely however and well worth a visit. Boat hire to go along the amalfi coast not cheap (200 euros for family of five) but well worth it and far more relaxing than driving. Great place for a week.

Good location and in a quiet area

Posted 21-Aug-2015
Pros: All of the staff are very helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. This seems to run through the entire hotel from the bottom to the top.
Cons: Maybe more lounge chairs / settee's in the bar area. Small circular table in the bedroom would also be useful
Location: As already stated good quiet area of town. Pompeii & Herculaneum are of course close by. Best way to travel to these sites is by train.
This is a great hotel, which is far enough out of the centre of Sorrento, but still close enough with level walking to the centre. We had the misfortune of our bags not arriving into Naples Airport via a transfer flight we had made from LHR via Zurich. The reception staff could not have been more helpful in keeping us informed as to the progress of this lost luggage, which finally arrived on the Sunday morning 40 hours after we had arrived! Sadly this incident took a little of the shine off our 5 day holiday as we spent a day and a half shopping for clothes and toiletries, but the hotel staff did everything they could to help, including giving us emergency toiletries to get by on and dressing gowns and slippers, which are normally only given out for better grade rooms. We were on a half board basis which I strongly recommend to everyone as both the breakfast and evening meals in both quality, quantity and variety were superb. Also when you book this type of package you will find the extra cost for the evening meal is extremely competitive compared to eating out in a restaurant in and around Sorrento. Drinks I would say are about normal with a good bottle of wine costing around €19 and a glass bottle of water on the table is also not excessive, at around €4.

Hotel agradable.

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Pros: Instalaciones y desayuno.

Lovely Hotel

We stayed for 8 nights, room very quiet and spacious. Room quite warm but reception happily turned down air con for us, also very helpful when asked advice on visiting places. Loved the covered garden area and the bar!

Well located, comfortable and pleasing hotel.

Posted 06-Aug-2015
Pros: Staff and comfort
Cons: Open roof top pool and bar during evening?
Location: All of Sorrento night life is a mere stroll away.
Good facilities, great views, friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast exceptional; lunch adequate - did not dine in hotel in the evening as town centre bars and restaurants only 800mtrs away.
