We wanted from our hotel: To walk easily into town in the evenings, literally 100 yards away. Near beach - lift down to beach! Cleanliness - spotless Pool, free use pool towels - ideal Roof terrace for magnificent views & sunsets. Staff - very friendly & helpful Absolute gem of a hotel, definitely will return.

Excellent hotel

Beyond wonderful experience! Definitely go back, staff was amazing. Only bad thing is no iron in rooms, they make you pay per item to iron. So bring your own! Great location

Great views, outdated hotel

Posted 22-May-2016
Pros: Customer service
Cons: The bed - replace them with mattresses produced within the last decade and replace the pillows.
Location: Close to everything - great location
This hotel was probably fabulous in the late 1980s - down to every last detail. In the current year (2016), not so much. Some of the basic amenities that you expect from a 4-star establishment were missing - most notably a comfortable bed. This had to be THE hardest bed I've slept on other than camping. No part of the bed contours to your body and the pillows were flat like pancakes, so it was just uncomfortable. Checked out the bar - standard selections and so-so execution. But, the service was great. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to provide assistance and/or entertainment, which partially offset some of the room challenges.

Elegant Hotel

Posted 08-May-2016
Pros: The breakfast buffet was exceptional! There was even a range of gluten free options which I really appreciated.
Cons: The bedding was not warm enough for the cool weather at the start of our stay, and the pillows were hard and and uncomfortable.
Location: The restaurants, bars and shops are all close by. An easy walk to the sea, with more restaurants and access to the ferries that go to Capri, Naples et
Situated very close to the centre of Sorrento. The staff were charming, and always ready to help if they could. The public areas of the hotel were beautiful, with large displays of white orchids, paintings and antique furniture. The swimming pool area was delightful when the weather warmed up.

Schönes und ruhiges Hotel

Posted 07-May-2016

Wonderful hotel with great everything!

Posted 04-May-2016
Pros: Everything. The staff, the hotel, the rooms, the location, the views. Perfect perfect perfect
Cons: Nothing
Location: One block to the main square, on the bay of Naples with beautiful view, easy access to excursions to Capri, Naples, etc
The location of this hotel was superb, you couldn't ask for better views of the bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. The hotel was beautiful all around, from the front lobby to the bar to the breakfast room and the rooms themselves. The staff were so friendly and attentive from the bellman that immediately took our bags to our room, the front desk staff who took care of parking our car, suggesting wonderful restaurants and booking out excursions and the bartender who also gave us loads of recommendations. They went above and beyond to make our stay a perfect one. The rooms were clean and beautiful and stocked with every amenity you could think of. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the breakfast buffet was to die for. Really an amazing place. It was family friendly but also a perfect place for couples looking for some romance. We only stayed for two nights but I am already dying to go back and stay for an entire week or even longer!

Sehr gutes Hotel mit Dachterrasse und Meerblick

Posted 30-Apr-2016

Great hotel near Roma termini (train station)

Posted 26-Apr-2016
Pros: Location, location, location, cleanliness, and newness. It was very quiet even though it's next to the train station and the parking lot.
Cons: The map on the hotel's website is incorrect.
Location: The metro is nearby so you can take it to the main sights. Central Rome not huge, so it's possible to walk to most sights.
The check in process was warm and efficient. The room and bath were new and extremely clean. The breakfast buffet was large and the food and coffee were excellent.

Beautiful hotel; perfect, central setting

Posted 24-Apr-2016
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, centrality, breakfast
Location: Close to all amenities and the picturesque old town area.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, the hotel is scrupulously clean, comfortable and has plenty of touches of luxury. Great setting - a short walk to the old centre of Sorrento, 10 mins walk to bus and train links and harbour. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want (and lots more). To cap it all the most amazing view of The Bay of Naples and Vesuvius from the front of the hotel. I'd definitely return if I visited Sorrento again and would recommend it.
