Ironic for a 5 star ryokan that wants you to relax and enjoy the facilities - dinner is great but not worth the near US$800 price point. There are better ryokans out there that serve better food for half the price albeit at lesser portions (doesn’t matter when you are full at dish 7/9 of their keiseki) - default dinner menu is French and require top ups to Japanese Kaiseki or Teppanyaki.
