The onsen is facing Toya lake, you could enjoy the view while soak in the onsen especially the outdoor onsen. Is was amazing feel. Surroundings were awesome, full of autumn foliage. The hotel location is great! The condition of this hotel is slightly out of date, the lift is quite small and old. The room itself is spacious. However, found that the light setting in the room can be improve (a bit dark for me). Hot spring's view on level 8 is beautiful! The lobby area was really modern looking and check in was a breeze. The Japanese style rooms were also very spacious. Our package was half board, so we had the buffet dinner and buffet breakfast. Both meals were decent with a good spread of food to cater to different palates. The buffet dinner and breakfast provided has lot of selection but quite similar. The room is clean, spacious but aircon is weak.
