This is an apartment in a standard old 3 story Montreal building. Very representative of typical downtown Montreal living. But beware - these places have little or no soundproofing. You will hear every footstep of the people above you, and the voices next door. This was OK for much of our stay but we were unlucky the first night, when people upstairs, including children, were walking and running almost continually until 1am, preventing sleep. But the other nights were not so bad. There is a lot of space, a good kitchen, and a bus stop to central Montreal right outside. And it is in an area with many nice cafes, restaurants, and tiny unique shops.

The entrance wasn’t too hard to find, there’s always people standing at the main entrance smoking and blocking your way. Location wise is alright, the ad didn’t note the huge construction project going on in the area so it’s very busy, noisy and inconvenient. A few sketchy instances where we had people follow us home, seems like all types of people in the area. Place overall was alright, note only 1 bedroom has a door, the other was open walk through. Blinds were not working either, needs a bit of maintenance I feel like.

I really appreciated how different it felt from a typical hotel. The space has a unique, almost immersive atmosphere, everything from the lighting and artwork displays to the sound feels intentional and calming. My room felt thoughtfully put together, with great attention to detail and comfort. What stood out most was how the hotel has a clear identity, it’s not trying to copy others, and that makes the stay feel more memorable.
