"We stayed in a chalet which was beautiful with a private hot tub not over looked. Very clean, very helpful staff . Beautiful hotel. Lovely breakfast."

"We loved the gardens especially and the walk down to the abbey ruins. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was nice too and the staff are friendly locals."

"I had a Comfort Room for my one night stay. The room is small-ish but perfectly adequate for one or two people for a few nights. There is some hanging space, and worktops/bedside tables, and good lighting. Heating was excellent and is controlled through your phone using a QR code link.The bathroom has bath and shower and a nicely illuminated mirror. Food, both dinner and breakfast were very good too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good stay, and a hotel I would certainly use again."
Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel

"The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. It’s a short walk from the train station and I would recommend it for your stay."

"Hotel, staff and food excellent! The only disappointment was the shower in our room, basically it was a cubicle open shower facing the basin on an angle which allowed water to flood the bathroom floor."
