"Our stay at Kolla was fantastic and a brilliant start to our trip in Sri Lanka. The setting of the huts, albeit away from centre of Sigiriya, are a highlight looking over the lake and especially as we had a family of elephants on the far side both evenings we were there. The hosts were great in organising a tuktuk for us for the first morning to Pedurangala rock for a sunrise hike. The breakfasts were incredible and amazingly presented (included in price), the dinners were delicious with a cooking masterclass experience organised one afternoon for lunch. Additionally, the host also went to the extra mile to go out to provide us with drinks they didn’t have available at the time. I would note that we were not told prices of the lunch, dinner and drinks when being served which would be helpful so not to have a surprise bill at the end of the stay. Overall, fantastic stay and highly recommend this to anyone wanting a secluded spot to enjoy the nature Sigiriya has to offer."
