The accommodation is not in the center of Sigiriya so you need a tuktuk to get to and from there. The hosts are extremely sweet and lovely with two lovely dogs and I felt safe being there travelling alone. This is not located near the restaurants, shops or main places to visit, so you cannot walk anywhere or easily pick up transport. Probably more an issue with me needing to be better asking in honesty, but I moved to Sirigiya village the last night of my stay because I wanted to be able to get breakfast and dinner, plus be around more people. Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten, aber für einen Kurzaufenthalt völlig ausreichend. Die Gastgeber Familie ist sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich! Very confortable bed, family owner very helpfull and dedicated to their guest. Delicious food, close to the rocks and the lake by walking distance. UG and his family were such amazing hosts. They put me in the treehouse room, which at first I was a bit sceptical about but I ended up loving it as one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Right in the middle of the forest, around a 20 minute walk from Sigirya and Pidurangala rocks, very common to see elephants and deer walking around freely. Sri Lankan breakfast included as well was delicious and everything homemade! Me he alojado varias veces aquí y lo volveré a hacer. Los dueños te hacen sentir como en tu propia casa.
