The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming to celebrate my birthday, so the entire family went all out to decorate the room, wished me happy birthday upon arrival and even baked a huge, delicious cake for me. This place will always be the most memorable stay of my life, and was better than any luxury Hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s basic and simple, and yet serene and ever so beautiful.
