This place is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and I wished we had stayed longer. The rooms are elevated and there is a walkway to them . My room are spacious, clean, with a seated area and I had a wrap around view of the forest. We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing. My food allergies was catered for, which sometimes can be a problem. The ambiance of this hotel is lovely and the staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to the chef that made my meals, this was my first taste of Sri Lankan food. This hotel is going to become popular and I am glad that we visited before that happen. The rooms were very big and clean, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The staff were great, and organised a safari trip for us, and a very early excursion to Lions Rock. The hotel was quite far away from main attractions, and where local restaurants and bars are (about 20 minute drive). This was fine for us as we hired a moped so we could come and go as we please.
