Loved the hotel, but as with our 3 sons who had separate rooms we all ended up in different rooms originally allocated because housekeeping had not made up the-rooms.

Warm, accommodating and helpful staff. Classy but still family friendly. Clean, stylish rooms and fabulous food in both restaurants. Close enough to Bridlington for the hustle n bustle but far enough from centre of town to be a peaceful retreat. After 4 visits, still my first choice of hotel when visiting Bridlington.

The best area to stay in Sigglesthorne is within the village itself, particularly around Main Street, for those seeking a tranquil, rural English experience.
Sigglesthorne is a small, picturesque village characterised by its traditional stone and brick cottages, a historic church, and open countryside views. Main Street is the central thoroughfare, offering a few local amenities and providing a good base for exploring the surrounding area. It's a very quiet and pleasant setting.
Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find Sigglesthorne village ideal. The unhurried pace of life, opportunities for countryside walks directly from your accommodation, and the charm of a traditional English village make it superb for unwinding. You'll find a few local pubs nearby in neighbouring villages, offering a chance to sample local ales and food.
For families, staying in Sigglesthorne provides a peaceful base with plenty of space for children to enjoy the outdoors. The village green often serves as a focal point, and the lack of busy roads offers a nice environment.
When is the best time to go to Sigglesthorne?
The best time to go to Sigglesthorne is typically during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, for the most pleasant weather and a full range of activities.
During these months, you'll find warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, which are ideal for exploring the surrounding East Yorkshire countryside and visiting nearby coastal towns. This period is superb for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits like walking, cycling, or visiting local gardens and natural attractions without the chill of autumn or winter.
Couples looking for a relaxing escape will appreciate the generally mild and sunny weather, superb for leisurely strolls through the village or countryside. Many local pubs and eateries will have their outdoor seating available, offering a lovely way to enjoy a meal or a drink.
For families, the summer holidays (July and August) offer the best opportunity to visit, aligning with school breaks. The longer days mean more time for activities like trips to the beach at Hornsea or exploring the Sigglesthorne Church and its grounds.
