"Hotel was a beautiful building. Room was spacious and bed comfy although the bedding and sheets did not fit the bed properly. Only ate in the Bistro. Meal was nice and good value with their two meals and bottle of wine offer. Could do with a few more staff to help especially clearing the outside tables on the patio . Left plates and glasses from lunchtime and no sign of anyone around."

"The room was perfectly ok for a simple night's stay, clean and adequate. A little dated. Staff very pleasant and helpful. No issues at all. Handy parking which you can use if arriving early. Short walk into the centre. Very pleasant marina."

"Best night sleep I have had in a hotel It’s was quiet and comfortable,so cosy Staff went out of their way to help me Breakfast was great loved the sausages and the pots of jam was a lovely treat"

"Great location to take daughter to uni of York, very reasonable for the standard of the hotel and handy that they had an electric car charger. The breakfast could have been better (we had avo crumpet which was pretty mushy) but very minor issue."
