"Dead bugs in every room, live spiders with piles of cobwebs webs. Host didn't care about the poor level of effort towards providing a clean property to enter and when confronted, was arrogant, condescending and hostile. Your property was unclean, you and your staff failed, not our fault. Clearly hadnt been thoroughly cleaned in weeks maybe longer, only a quick hoover of the main pathway before our arrival."

"Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed in the foreposter which also had a extremely comfortable so far in front of the TV. Shower was good. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room, warm, quiet at night although was a Thursday and quite Central to town center Also get 10% off food and drink when showing key. Board games available in pub area and lots of different offers on drinks"

"Room was clean & well equipped - grounds could do with some attention, but there were two gardeners working both days we were there & it is autumn after all. Breakfast was quite boring minimum cereals & juice - full English from buffet, but no choice other than fried eggs - no choice of poached or scrambled. Bar was very comfortable with good seating & open fire. Warm & cosy. Overall very good value for money - would definitely return there."

"Loved our stay last week. Whenever we need to stay in Shrewsbury, We always check availability here first. We only had a standard room, but we had everything we needed including sheets (on this site it says the sheets aren't supplied, THEY ARE) refreshments etc. They don't do breakfast, but there was a really nice cafe across the road, the avocado bowl was amazing 😋"

"The hotel was perfect for our trip to Cosford. The price really didn’t reflect the hotel, I thought it would be quite basic as it cost was low, but it was more 4*. The room was huge, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, the choice of food was varied, and staff were friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel."
