"Wonderfully located -- close to everything but just far enough away to be calm and quiet. After exploring Stirling, we took the train for a day trip to Glasgow, just 45 mins away. Very easy and just a 10-15 min walk to the station. Beds were VERY comfortable, good closet space and dresser. The second bedroom has very low head clearance, not for the claustrophobic. "Apartment was just as advertised, was clean and comfortable, and located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with easy access (~12 min drive) to EDI. Owner was responsive and very kind. My husband left an item behind, and the owner was quick to let us know it had been found and arrange to get it back to us. Would definitely recommend this apartment."

"The property all on ground floor which was great close to the hospital. It was local to where we were meeting relatives for a long weekend away. Very clean and well heated and wifi was ok. Only negatives were we couldnt find a toaster or a wire grill to toast in oven and after contacting host re hairdryer was told in was broken. Luckily I washed by hair the day we travelled and its just about ok 3 days later. Would have took mine if known but itinery specified one."

"Lovely stay for 6 nights in this delightful cabin surrounded by fields. Super comfy bed and everything we needed. It was convenient for Livingston and Edinburgh with a car. Kind touch of flowers, fruit and wine too and the very nice owners gentle and friendly goldies popped by to say hello every now and again. Would stay again for sure."

"It was a beautiful farmland setting with many walking trails, yet close to attractions in the area. Chris & Susan were very helpful and attentive. Chris let us know the train into Edinburgh was close by, and a 10 minute ride to the city. Great breakfast place The Carlisle, in town, as well as very good pizza at the Bocca Bona. Beds so comfortable and warming wood stove for the cool nights after a busy day. Amazing!"

"Apartment is very well appointed and had everything we needed. There is a small co-op in Clackmannan, but you will need to go to Alloa for everything else. We were close to the Dollar Glen hike and a day at St. Andrews, as well."

"This property is not well maintained, updated and appears very lived in. The heating wasn't working properly, the upstairs toilet ran constantly, there was one threadbare bath towel per person and many other problems. We had booked for one week and left after one night. The host was very responsive and refunded our money without any problems. We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the world, but this was our first bad experience."

"Clean and comfortable. Good shower and comfortable bed. Quiet despite at a shopping area and next to a bar. The surrounding area not so nice but that is generally true for Glasgow, a typical inner city. We booked it for ease of transport as it is right next to St Enoch subway station. Has coin operated self service laundry. "

"The staff was extremely helpful and very nice the hotel itself is a little dated but it’s rooms are very big which is nice the area has lots of restaurants and bars around and it’s very walkable to everything but it can be noisy at night with the bars and restaurants being so close by in fact our room was overtop of a bar "
