"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Affordable and connected to the Nagano train station. There is a nice shopping area nearby as well for gifts for family and food for yourself in your room. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed the night at this hotel during a longer trip and chose it for its proximity to Nagano Train Station. We saw the hotel from the train when we arrived into Nagano so it gave us our bearings to walk there from the station with the aid of Google maps. The room was comfortable and a good size. The bonus was the massage chair which my young son loved to use. This hotel has excellent facilities for travellers like the coin operated laundry facilities on the 2nd floor and the microwave oven for heating food. In the lobby, there’s a refreshment station and toiletries for guests to take. The staff are lovely and helpful and speak good English for those of us who don’t speak Japanese. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a quality hotel close to Nagano station. "

"We went on a Japan trip for 2 weeks and this was our favorite ryokan, because they made us feel at home. It's in a little town surrounded by snowy mountains, near Shiga Kogen and Snow Monkey Park. The kaiseki was unbelievable, well worth the price. We don't want to ruin the surprises during dinner and the attention to detail throughout the experience. The staff were thoughtful, kind and thorough to us foreigners that don't know all of the customs of the area. The onsen was beautiful, well maintained and allowed us to connect. The owner greeted us several times and was so welcoming. They also have the best chopsticks, it's worth checking out their gift shop.
We highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it."
