Beautiful window view and location. Perfectly insulated- room had a heater . Cons. You hear everything in your rooms. Including conversations and foots steps. If you boarding or skiing the uphill trek will make you wish for Jesus, is a bit far. The overall experience was great and in all honestly you are far too tired to hear most things I just happen to be a light sleeper. I would compare to an expensive hostel. With adequate amenities and everything you need but the people make the experience a 10/10\. The team were incredibly accomodating and helpful with ALL matters and enquiries. Special mention to Adi, who went above and beyond with everything, it was like staying at your favourite uncle's house. Every question was answered with in depth local knowledge and if he wasn't' sure he would find out for you and get back to you. He also made reservations for restaurants for us. Recommended all the good onsens for your taste, free vs paying and advised on cultural norms so we didn't anger locals. Directed us to all the good restaurants and helped with all our gear. Adi was definitely was the x-factor with Nozawa Dream Central. Check-in was easy, rooms were Japanese style ryokans. breakfast was excellent, fuel to kick start your day on the slopes! Location is perfect. I believe they also speak some Spanish! Service is kind and professional. Location is convenient: \~3min walk from the shuttle bus stop to/from Iiyama Station. About a 10-15 min walk up to Yu road up to Higaki Gondola for skiing.
