You can definitely walk to zenkoji from here. Nice walk up the main road to the temple. Best thing is you also get the benifit of the shop in the arcade walk. Restaurant inside was nice. Hotel at first glance looks good. It inside the rooms look dated and carpets need to be replaced! The showers and amenities are very nice. It’s not old school but if you want modern this is a good alternative.
