"Really excellent hotel, blending traditional and modern. The room was very large and comfortable, and the staff were so helpful with recommendations and bookings around Kyoto. The only downside was the location, which is around 25 minutes walk to the centre of Kyoto."

"The hotel is very well located across the street from Kyoto station (main train station in Kyoto). Most sites of interest are easy/fast to get to from Kyoto station. Rooms are small (not a surprise). The hotel is worth the cost. I would definitely stay again at this hotel."

"Not only do they provide yukata to use for the bath, the onsen itself was lovely, the water was always the perfect temperature and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are cozy but there are spaces to put larger pieces of luggage beneath the bed. Overall, it’s a short walk to some major destinations (Kyoto Station, Aeon Mall, Kyoto Aquarium) and has a convenience store…conveniently right next to it! Highly recommended."

"First time to Kyoto. Great location within easy five minute walking distance from Kyoto station. Excellent access to public transportation in the area to get to all major sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were compact yet ergonomically designed to feel spacious. Quiet. Great breakfast. "
