"Positives: Great location and easy walk to wharf area, restaurants and shops. Big comfortable beds. Cons: Booked balcony mountain view room but room was at end of hallway and was mainly overlooking large roof space and aircon units with offices across the street. Could only see mountains in background if you out on the balcony and looked left or right. Unfortunately would not be sitting on the balcony to enjoy that view - very disappointing. Had better views on our other accomodations around the South Island"

"We really enjoyed our five night stay in May. The apartment was warm and comfortable with a fantastic view and was reasonably priced. We ate in every night and found the kitchen facilities good (no paper towels or cooking condiments except for the usual salt, pepper, tea bags, coffee and sugar satchets) Bed was really comfortable. The apartment is a short drive to the city centre and a very walkable distance along the Lakeside trail walkway. (Bit of a hill to go up for the last few minutes on the way back) There is a bus stop close by if needed. Fresh choice Supermarket is further away but if you're not wanting to drive there is a small Four Square in town. Would stay here again."

"It was a fantastic room off the court yard. The room it self was clean modern. Only a few minutes to town by walking. We popped next door to Q1 for breakfast which was lovely. I would book this place again when I come down next."

"It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under going major building works on the front reception and dining area. The breakfast while a buffet was ok but they were no options to purchase omelettes or fried eggs. The sausages were only chicken sausages. The bar was a temporary structure, not somewhere I would sit and relax after a day out. It was ok if you drink spirits no beer on tap and limited bottled beer. The service staff managed very well considering what they are working with."

"The room was not clean. There was a used plaster/ bandaid stuck to the wall inside my closet. The cleaning staff are scheduled to come at 3pm and are not accommodating around your schedule. The reception staff are unhelpful and rude."

"If you're visiting Queenstown, this is absolutely the best location. It is an easy walk to all the best restaurants and attractions. And the Thrifty car hire is right across the street. We stayed for a week. We hired a car for the last three days to do some day trips. We found overnight car parking on the street but you have to pay after 9am. Some of the hotel's facilities need some work. In the laundry, 3 of the 6 machines were out of order. And the spa was out of action. We went to the outdoor hot pools up by the gondola. We would definitely stay here next time if we come to Queenstown again."
