"The hotel needs a lot of care and attention , cleaning which is a most. other parts need cleaning.I use the GYM when I was there, Equipment's need updated , .Lot of other places are rusted, meaning to old , good clean down.Needs a better fan for bathroom /shower, especially when having to do ANOTHER 2 IN THE toilet. NEEDS MORE STRONGER SUCTIONS. WINDOWS NEED CLEANING PLENTY COBWEBS IN EVERY AREAS. Rubbish even outside the areas need to be emptied daily, Areas where you are aloud to smoke Fence need to be sorted out. smoking bins need also to be empty daily, place needs a general sweep up..bathroom basin is to small.Also TV CHANNELS DO NOT WORK CONTINUOUSLY, ShUT DOWN AFTER A WHILE NEED TO SORT OUT t.v aerials connections.Only provide connection breakfast , only no hot breakfast should say that, in they breakfast include deal they offer, so customer's know.tHE Hotel could be nice, The owner needs to put more money to make it a bit more BETTER.the owner is a nice person. bUT NEEDS TO DO MORE.i MYSELF WOULD PUT A RATING FOR THE HOTEL AS 1 TO 2.IT CAN REACH 2 /3 PLUS IF HE ONLY INVEST A BIT MORE MONEY INTO THAT PROPERTY.lAST OF ALL VERY NOISY ON THAT STREET MORE SOUND PROOFING, TO REDUCE LESS NOISE."

"Henry the manager was welcoming, friendly & very attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. I had a clean & comfortable room with a kettle, free tea & coffee, a marvellous little fridge that kept beer & milk beautifully chilled, and also freeview TV. My room was near the front door of the lodge, one of 4 rooms in the same corridor. There were two seperate shared bathrooms with shower & toilet facilities that were cleaned every day, so more than sufficient for the total number of guests. The communal dining room had a microwave, fridge & kettle, and crockery plus cutlery were provided and washed up by Henry. Behind the dining room was attached a conservatory & children's play room, plus an outside seating & eating area. So my 3 night stay at Church Lodge, Grain came to just under £100 for the room with sone self catering facilities. There's no cooker provided, however the microwave was ample for my cooked food requurenents. There are two very nearby supermarkets within easy walking distsnce, including a Co-Op with long opening hrs, a pub serving food, and a fish & chip shop also serving kebabs. Lower Stoke village is a 5 mike drive from Grain and has 2 pubs, a Chinese takeaway and an Indian takeaway, plus another busy fish & chip shop also serving pizza & kebabs. Great place to visit for peace & quiet, no crowds of tourists and a welcome decent nights sleep! Excellent value & amenities- can't go wrong! Steve T 😎"

"As one of the only hotels in the area, choice was limited. We used for a one night stay to meet family. Condition not as expected, somewhat outdated and emptu of guests. Could not ope room windows and the spiders occupied the room more than guests as cobwebs were seen in many area, problems flushing toulet ans windows were certainly dirty"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Pod. Communication and instructions before arrival were wonderful and made everything so easy. The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. The wood burner hot tub in the garden was such a treat, perfect for relaxing under the stars. It’s beautifully secluded and feels like you’re tucked away in the middle of nowhere — peaceful, quiet, and magical. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and escape! "
