"Room was very clean plenty of coffee and teabags always filled when we were out. Plenty of hot water lovely shower. Breakfast was excellent the cook was brilliant Over all good stay quirky place"

"Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too."

"The Tempus is such a beautiful hotel. Each room is magnificently decorated, and has a sense of luxury and elegance. The bar and breakfast are ideal and, again, beautifully designed. "Loved our long weekend at the Black Bull. Very busy pub, but as we were on the second floor no noise issues. Smashing Sunday lunch and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady behind the bar who checked us in. Only issue was no lift and the stairs are quite steep, so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Would not hesitate to recommend and will stay again. "
