"Bit of a mix up.at checkin as I was sure my booking included breakfast but I was told it didn’t as I'd upgraded to a seaview.. I'd booked in a hurry so we didn't query. We did get a discount by ordering and paying there and then, but it was an expense I hadn't budgeted for It was a lovely room in the gardrn area with outside furniture and a great view. Breakfast is buffet and plenty of choice, although the blackpudding was overcooked. Dissappointed to see young children being a nuisance at the table next to us. I wonder if maybe a polite notice asking guests to not let children run around and banging on the table. Also advise adults not to take phone calls at the table. Its just rude."

"Overall a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, the evening meal was good as was the breakfast. If the hotel has high occupancy the restaurant can get very busy at breakfast time, but the reception staff did warn us of this. "

"The staff we met were all helpfull and changed us to a better room which suited our needs but was suprised to hear no lift available and for 3 months would have been helpfull to know this in advance either in email or on their website for all visitors to know but we had our bags taken up for us and down thankfully the room was clean and huge bed all you needed in the room robes not slippers and drinks pepsi and fridge . very central to all and train station enjoyable stay "
