The house is immaculate and well furnished. Our family of 5 had a great time.
Our three kids slept in the second bedroom, with the youngest on the provided inflatable mattress. They were a little tight in there, but we could have put the mattress in the living area if we needed more space for each.
The backyard is the highlight. It's large and grassy with scattered trees. There's a fenced-in area with a gate that locks, and the larger part outside the fence extends all the way to the bank of the Rogue River. We played frisbee by the river, watched the ducks and geese and thoroughly enjoyed it. Make sure you wear shoes you don't mind getting goose poop on the bottom of though.
The focus of our visit was Crater Lake, and it's a pretty long drive to get there, a little over an hour. It's a very pleasant drive though, so didn't really bother us. Just something to be aware of. There aren't a lot of other lodging options in much closer proximity to the lake.
To summarize: a beautiful home in a gorgeous location, reasonably close to Crater Lake if that's your destination.
