"Excellent location. We booked a sea view through a third party online agent and on arrival that room had been oversold so we were allocated a side view room. While not what we booked the view from that room was still lovely and the hotel is so well designed it was hardly a side view. The staff were lovely and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was all self service but with a good selection and decent quality. For reasons we didn’t understand, the bar which was crowded at peak times and difficult to find a seat, was air conditioned to an uncomfortable level. We preferred to go out for drinks for this reason. There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay and we’d definitely recomend."

"The room was a good size, the bed very comfortable the bathroom was good sized. The shower was over the bath with shower curtains, not great for older persons. There was a warning sign about the heated towel rail which was not heated.A request to the duty manager to turn it on, produced no result, nor a report back. The breakfasts were fine and we were happy to have dinner three nights. Car parking in front of the hotel was good. Staff, apart from the duty manager who did not perform or report, were friendly, most were young and seemed to be learning on the job."

"Overall we had a lovely stay. Only complaint was that we were cold in the evenings…it was less than 10° outside and the bar had air-conditioning on! We got really cold. The restaurant was also cold, so we only ate there the first night. The food was good, spoilt only by my poached eggs being cool the first day, and when I asked for them to be hot the second morning, they were only just warm! Otherwise a lovely breakfast. Shower very good, and plenty of hot water for baths to warm us up!"
