The hotel was decent, but I always search the entire room for grossness. Under the bed was horrible!! Not only dust, but garbage and water bottles, it was pretty disgusting. The furniture was stained and there was wood on the comforter. We actually got our own blankets from the car for our daughter to sleep on the sofa bed. The staff were really nice, the TV has issues, you had to switch things in the back, and it was wobbly. The keys to the back door were really hard to use, We won’t stay here again.

Staff was nice and helpful. The bathroom smelled like someone had just done a number 2 upon our arrival, but it dissipated during the first part of our stay…meaning, it doesn’t always smell like that.

I was expecting to be in the main hotel building but little did I know they have an unattached office building that also has rooms above it. We were in one of them. We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs to our room. Although the room furniture and decor was decent and clean the carpet was stained, there was no view at all of the ocean and the main hotel’s restaurant and bar was permanently closed which was not advertised as such. For the price it was a disappointment and we should have stayed elsewhere.

In the future look for the rooms listing an ocean view in the description, rather than the room listed as an "annex building, non view, 2nd story room", when you are selecting your room type. My stay was fantastic! Loved the big tub looking out the windows either at the mountains or ocean. Was a plus having a microwave and the room was decorated with a spa concept. I will be back!!!

My husband and I visited for the weekend. Our room was upgraded upon check-in. The room was vaulted, clean and we had a great stay. The beach was just steps from the hotel! We will be back!

The view from the room was amazing and it went downhill from there. Stains on the bedding and carpet, dirty windows and mirrors, and tub looked iffy. Overall the room was very dated and disappointing.

The bathrooms turn into a Turkish bath after a few minutes of and is very unsafe. The whole bathroom smelled of mildew. Side note the garage smelled like a dumpster.

Utterly disappointed
Room was filthy. Feet stuck to carpet. Ocean view room with windows so dirty it was like looking through frosted windows. Nails in the hallway from they remodel - supposedly from months ago...supposed to be a 1 bedroom penthouse...was two beds with one stuffed in a cubby 10 feet away. Was for 27 year anniversary, wife's birthday and 1st vacation in 15 years. Town was sold out so had to stay or sleep in my vehicle. Cancelled the remaining stay. Office staff was nice but never heard back after expressing my abject disappointment and requested a refund. So....weird. I don't have words to express what a disaster this was. Would never recommend this business. Oh, well...live and learn

Exceptional stay
Absolutely fantastic! The penthouse view was spectacular. The bed was a dream cloud. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and felt welcoming. We did not eat at the Maggie restaurant below the hotel, but there are several great shops in walking distance. We recommend Norma's 9/10

Location good but parking TERRIBLE. Bedding on queen bed was wrong size, creating tripping risk on bedskirt and top sheet. Absolutely NO place to put anything bigger than a cell phone. The one window that should have been openable was screwed shut. Blinds should open from top for a little privacy. Got food poisoning from Maggie’s under-heated chowder. Ghastly experience.

We always enjoy our stay at the Seaside Oceanfront Inn! We've returned 5 years in a row and stayed in several different rooms. This year they'd updated the carpet, walls, fixtures and otherwise and it was a lovely surprise. We will continue to visit them when we are in Oregon.

You pull up and there is no parking. The check in desk is in a concrete building separate from the hotel. There are 5 parking spots otherwise you have to park across the street. The room was small and dingy, the walls were thin so you heard everything. The partial ocean view, was a side window with not much of a view it was mostly the hotel next door and parking lot. The windows don’t open so you can’t hear the ocean. There was mold on the cocking around the tub. There were stains on the carpet, no breakfast. The restaurant down stairs was nice but they don’t serve breakfast. It’s great that it is on the promenade. However I would not recommend it to my friends.

The Ocean view rooms are worth the money. Elevator is great. Right on the Promenade for seaside stroll. We had small trouble with the coffee maker but Naomi left the front desk to help us. She also assisted us well with eating options. Naomi is personable and pleasant. ( Give her a raise ). *Good luck in your Vet. future. Overall great stay !!
