Stayed for 1 night, pleasant stay would use again. Good sized room and nice with having a kitchenette

It was the cheapest place we could find for Monterey car week. It couldn’t have been better. Really well placed, easy to see the cars and from the balcony facing the road you could see the odd spot of racing. My wife said it was the best sleep she had had so far in our 3 week trip.

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Disney, and really couldn't knock it for the price. Location was within walking distance of Disney (approximately a 15 minutes brisk walk). Car parking was spacious and free, which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. You could even see the Disney fireworks going off towards the back of the hotel. Whilst the hotel is located off a busy road, the rooms are far enough away from the road so that you are not disturbed by the road noise. Check in...

Clean accessible and comfortable room. Even being on the main road the room was quiet.

Just looking for a cheaper stop near Monterey which is a very expensive place. This motel was great value for money and probably the best motel I stayed at during my week long trip (toured California, different hotel every night.) Excellent clean and great value for money. Just be wary of car parking, we were lucky the motel wasn't full but had it been we may have struggled to park in the provided car park.

Great reception, lovely lemon drink at reception with cookies & all day coffee. Room nice, modern and clean. Had a good comfortable stay, lovely breakfast selection (shame the pancake maker wasn’t working). Lovely coffee, right next to an In & Out Burger. We went to Chili’s next door & had amazing Salmon/broccoli & chicken fajitas. Walked to a local beach which was nice & spent following day in Monterey and then Carmel By-the-sea which was stunning. Would definitely stay here again

For the price this stopover worked well for us. It’s a bit out of Monterey but easy with a car. Staff are very nice indeed and communication great. Apartment was lacking in furniture like side tables and I found the floor sandy. But it is convenient and spacious and reasonable in price.

A really friendly welcome from the reception team and a super hotel that exceeded expectations and the website photos. Huge room with excellent facilities and a very large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous and plentiful. Guests were a little cramped at peak times in the communal breakfast area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Spindrift as part of our honeymoon roadtrip. The room was lovely and cosy (with the fire much appreciated owing to the rainy weather). The property is located on Cannery Row, a stone’s throw from shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful and a highlight was the daily cheese and wine. We would recommend to anyone.
