"Very unqiue & charming hotel"
Each room is individually designed and has been converted from an old farm. A very warm and charming romantic feel but equally suitable for families with children. Old wooden gypsy style caravans sit within the grounds which gives the place an all together fairytale feel. Just very unique and highly recommendable. Great location to commute to other day trip attractions from, we got to Bamburgh in 20mins and Alnwick castle in 7mins.

"the Comfort of home"
Nestled amongst the borders' hills the warm welcome we received at the Coach House from our host as she welcomed us into her 'home' and upgraded our room because of a recent cancellation was second to none. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. Excellent staff, good food, a good bed and a hot shower with a very comfortable and spacious guest's lounge with honesty box for the drinks ... what else would you want!!

"Good basic hotel. "
Hotel nicely positioned and easy to find. Staff were helpful and pleasant but not too fussy. Room was adequate, clean and warm. Bathroom was great but noisy due to plumbing. My room must have been over the kitchen because there was a near constant sound of an extractor. The corridor to the room needs some attention. Dirty, dark and smelt of fish. Deep breaths when entering and leaving the room!

"2 nights in November"
Had only 2 nights in Berwick on Tweed & found this small B&B perfect for my needs- others may want a more central location though.I was the only guest on the 1st night so had breakfast alone, however the propietor was very friendly& we got on well.I know Berwick from visiting often as a child when living in Newcastle, so wanted to spend some time re exploring,so even though the weather was awful,I had a wonderful time& fulfilled my plans .Berwick is a great place to visit-loads & loads of history from the Middle Ages onwards when it was fought over between Scots& English for hundreds of years, through to the building of Eizabethen defences, then reinforced during the 1700s&then again during the Nepolionic wars of the late 18th&early 19thcenturies. If you're interested in art,Lowery painted Berwick at various locations& you can follow The Lowery Trail, the information boards are all clean & easy to read& not 1 was vandalised-very unusual,in fact I didn't notice any vandalism anywhere. I enjoyed my time in Berwick & would have liked to have stayed longer, indeed I will revisit & will be staying at the Rob Roy again.

"Great find"
Booked a 4 night stay for my husband's 50th. From start to finish everything was fabulous. The staff were all lovely and welcoming, the room was superb, and the breakfast choices were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we will certainly be back. The added bonus is that woolen is only a short drive to all major attractions so perfectly central
