The accommodation is sited uphill from the main establishment (500m above sea level) and has in front of it a lap pool ranging from ankle-deep to 2m, there is a ramp enabling less able clients to access the pool easily. "Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina."

"Overall 2 floors, separated into 3 separate parts, the accommodation provides ample space - kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and multiple bedrooms. Outside has swimming pool and hot tub, plus plenty of space for outdoor eating. Located in large village, with direct views of Mt Etna (we saw eruption second night), local shops, restaurants and even a cocktail bar. 50 minutes from Catania Airport. Great for large group holiday. We had a wonderful time. "

"We had a fabulous week. The views are just amazing and the pool is wonderful. There's an excellent restaurant next to the villa if you don't feel like driving or walking (it was very hot in August) but Santa Venerina is a lovely town within walking distance.
