Nice place out of the center of town

Posted 29-Aug-2015
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Location: On Cerillo Road, about a 15 minutedrive from the Square at the heart of Santa Fe.
We were in town to attend Indian Market for the first time. The Hyatt Place was a well-run, clean and comfortable hotel to retreat to. They ran a shuttle into the heart of Santa Fe that made attending the Market simple. Their breakfast was complete and fresh. Carmen at the front desk made us feel welcome and helped us enjoy the long weekend!

Hospitality of staff was outstanding. Excellent!

Posted 27-Aug-2015
Pros: EVERYTHING
Location: We are familiar with Santa Fe so this was convenient to everything we did. Shuttle service to Plaza is excellent.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the staff especially, Joanna Leigh, were outstanding in making this a wonderful experience. Will stay at the Hyatt Santa Fe on future visits.

Nice Hotel

Posted 26-Aug-2015
Hotel staff is friendly despite the fact the hotel is difficult to find. It hides behind a retail tire place. Breakfast selection was undesirable. Hot food wasn't so hot and left too long under the heat lamps. Rooms are well taken care and beds are comfortable.

Excellent location for a 1 nighter

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Pros: Very large room with double queen beds.
Location: Downtown Santa Fe is just a short drive away.
Large, very clean rooms at a reasonable price. I gave it 5/5 as it exceeded my expectations for this class of hotel (not that it's a 5 start resort).

Pretty nice, but not downtown

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Pros: Nice place, not expensive.
Nice place to stay. It's far from downtown, so plan to drive or take the shuttle if going to plaza, etc. It is near the freeway, so if you're going to Albuquerque or Tent Rocks, that's handy.

Great stay.

Posted 14-Aug-2015
Pros: Price. Staff. Cleanliness. Condition.
Cons: Please see experience above.
Location: Most places you'll have to get onto Cerrillos Rd to drive to. It's kind on the SW end of town and most places you may want to visit are on the NE.
So everything was pretty good. The staff, room condition, and the cleanliness. The room comfort I gave a 3 rating which I'll cover. I can't give it an overall rating of 5 for just a few reasons. 1) As far as the beds go, my wife and I had a hard time sleeping through the night. But I just chalk that up to liking a particular type of mattress. My back was killing me each morning. 2) It didn't appear that there was room service. So if you ordered food you had to go get it when it was ready. That was new. 3) The location is good in the sense that it's off of Cerrillos Rd which is basically the main road to get you to and from most of Santa Fe. It'll take you downtown to the Plaza and most of the touristy stuff and there's lots of good places to eat up and down the road. But if you're heading back to the hotel, you continuously have to make a u-turn to come back and get to the entrance. Kind of annoying if you're constantly leaving and returning back to the hotel. We stayed 6 days and by the 3rd day I was tired of it. So next time I may stay somewhere that's a little more accessible. 4) There's also no microwave or freezer. 5) If you're taking a hot shower I might recommend leaving the door slightly open so the steam can get out. Otherwise when you get out of the shower, everything is covered in moisture. The walls, the door, the toilet, the floor...everything. 6) The breakfast could've been a lot better.

Could have been better...

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service training for staff.
Our experience was unfortunate. From the lack of good customer service at check-in to the dirty linens once we got to our room. All staff we encountered were lackluster at best or atrocious at worst, except for Cerise (sp?) and all those in housekeeping who were exceptional in every way.

Can't go wrong with Hyatt.

The hotel is standard for Hyatt. I' ve always had a good experience at these hotels so I didn't hesitate to book for prices at Expedia
