"Excellent size with clean and spacious rooms and bathroom. It was initially tricky to call the host on our International SIM card, but one we connected through WhatsApp he was very responsive. The yard had wonderfully scented flowers and the washer was much needed at this point in our trip. If we are back in the area, we will absolutely stay again!"

"Bright and cheerful with great local pubs. Perfect for a much-needed weekend break."

"The property is small, and perhaps a little dated, but was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was good for us, and ideal for a short break."

"Wonderful cottage in a lovely peaceful location."

"Everything was perfect a lovely getaway"

"An amazing place to stay! Gorgeous views and animals to see and perfect local for take outs and small shops like Tesco or co op. Plenty to do around. Would definitely go back again!"

"Very clean, very warm, very cosy. Excellent"

"The best short break away, we loved it from start to finish. Bed was amazing, hot tub was amazing, perfect place for a romantic getaway."

"Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated."

"We had a great time at Rose Cottage. Perfect for a long weekend. Generally very clean but lots of dog hairs on the floor. Heating was very responsive, kitchen well equipped. Could do with a drying rack for the draining board and some tumbler sized glasses. Lovely soft towels and bedding, great shower. Best fish and chips ever from Robinsons over the road. Parking a bit tricky at times but all in all a lovely time!"

"Beautiful property but the whole building is uneven, floors have big dips in them, the stairs are on a slant and so is the landing so quite dangerous for anyone with balance problems. No washing machine either!"
