Beautiful Hotel, great location, poor service
Our stay was enjoyable, but we did run into a few issues with service.
Dirty towel left hanging on the back of the bathroom door.
After requesting 3 separate times throughout the day (first at 8:30am) that our bed sheets be changed, when we got back from dinner at 11:30pm, there were clean sheets folded at the edge of our bed... disappointing to pay money to change my own sheets.
When leaving we gave front desk our valet ticket and were told it would take 20 minutes to get our car because it was busy... granted there was only one other couple in the lobby. 20 minutes for $52 overnight valet? So we asked if we could leave our luggage and go get a coffe. When we came back our car was out front with no luggage. We had to go inside and ask where our luggage was... and we're told they were in storage and it would take 10-15 minutes to get it. When the bellman brought the luggage he took it off the cart and put it in front of the front desk... so we had to carry it out to the car. There was a valet guy just standing at the door watching us move the bags, - little ridiculous to me. Why would one pay to valet to wait around so long and still have to take care of our own bags?
Extremely frustrating that our entire experience at the hotel was great and it had to be tarnished because of poor customer service.
