Smelly and Disgusting - Pictures ARE deceiving

Posted 15-Jan-2018
Pros: not a thing..We didn't stay
Cons: everything about this hotel..
Location: the location was in a dirty and smelly area
My daughter and I made last minute reservations to meet with a family member in San Fran for the weekend. Once we made it to the hotel the front desk person had to walk to the door to let us in. Upon walking into the hotel you are met with a horrible odor. A very unclean and disgusting odor. Since it was late, I didn't want to make a big deal about the odor, so I proceeded to give the gentleman my information and asked about parking since I was told parking came with the hotel reservation. He proceeded to tell me that was parking was not included with the hotel reservation and I told him that I was advised that parking was included, he again denied parking being included and proceeded to tell me the daily rate. Again, it's late (3:00 am) and we just want to rest and we'll figure this all out once we've had time to collect our thoughts. He gave us a KEY, yes, an actual key to enter our hotel room. When we made it to the room and opened the door, the odor we were fist met with when we entered the hotel was ever more present and let alone the room looked NOTHING like what's online. It looked like a seedy hotel where you would take someone for a quick wham bam thank you ma'am. That was the last straw. Strike 3! We went back downstairs to the front desk and told the gentleman that the room was not acceptable and we were not satisfied and the room did not represent what was on Expedia's website and I wanted a refund.

Not on Union Square

Posted 14-Dec-2017
Name is deceptive: 3 blocks from Union Square. Single pane windows let in all the street noise and cold. Tiny bath. No services in hotel. The parking garage that desk said had a deal with the hotel said the deal was no longer valid.

SFO to BART to Hotel $10 and 45 minutes!

Posted 08-Dec-2017
Clean sheets, cleanish bathroom, walk to train station, Starbucks, Walgreens in less than 10 mins. Noisy outside (duh, it’s in the city). No kleenex. Shower has dispenser for shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Super friendly staff. You need a bed, shower and shelter for the night but on a budget? Try it! Spend your savings on the amazing food and shopping footsteps away.
