Levendig hotel bij Union Square.

Posted 23-Oct-2016
Pros: Midden in het winkel gebied.
Location: Bij Union Square.

You're paying strictly for the location

Posted 15-Oct-2016
Location: Location is great, right downtown with lots of places to eat but that's all
Here's what you don't get: No a/c No fridge No Microwave No coffee maker No Kleenex A small bed from WWII A bathroom so small the sink is in the main room No clock TV with more than half the channels in Spanish and NO news channels or premium channels, facing the wall, not the bed Parking $25 per day

Location, location, location

Pros: Great location close to Union Square, clean, and in good shape for a 100+ year-old facility. Shower also had good water pressure.
Cons: Not sure what the hotel could do to improve the issue with the loud alley noise other than put in air conditioning (which isn't likely, granted).
Location: Great location, right near Union Square.
Old city hotel, which was very clean and in a great location. That is the good news. The bad news is that there is no air conditioning (to be expected) and my room was above the back alley, which meant LOTS of late night and early morning noise - not good for my open window (to let cool air in). One evening, the water was out. For the last day and a half, the Internet was out. Staff was mostly friendly - other than one time I called about the Internet and the front desk person acted like I was interrupting him for calling about it ("You called and I was on the phone - was do you need?").

Convenient location, amazing staff

Posted 30-Sep-2016
The hotel is not bad. I was there for just 1 night, it's of course not a 5 star hotel, but for the price, it's worth it. It's very close to union square. The staff is amazing!! Very nice and friendly.

Excellent location and that is about it

Posted 20-Sep-2016
This is by far the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in; from cars, to people yelling on the street, to a friggin jack hammer I kid you not, it was so noisy sleep was hopeless. Combine that with no air conditioning which requires the windows to be open and well you can only imagine. On the good side the staff was excellent, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the location was great. I could walk to Moscone in about 15 minutes.

Nice location

Posted 25-Aug-2016
Pros: convenient location, comfortable beds
Cons: The smell, water sometimes went during showers
Location: Union Square, trams, buses, walkable restaurants/pubs and Laundromat
Good location beside Union Square do you have the trams or buses nearby. The room itself was basic, two beds and a bathroom, no aircon so would not be ideal if it had been warm, but San Francisco is much cooler, it did have a radiator but was not switched 0on while we were there. The lift works fine, if your a light sleeper, ask for a room away from it because you can hear light dings from it, although it never bothered us. The only thing that really bothered me was the smell. It was either from nearby restaurant or just the age of the hotel but in the corridor and on the stairs it was very sickening. the room itself did not smell bad so at least one you left the hotel or entered y9our room you cold not smell it. I think for the condition it is over priced but given that San Francisco is an expensive city it is probably affordable in regards to what you would pay for a higher class hotel.

Buena ubicacion

Posted 05-Aug-2016
