Good location

Beds were decent and the location was pretty good. Most places I was interested in going downtown were fairly easy to reach.

Perfect Location

Posted 24-Sep-2016
This hotel is on the edge of the tenderloin which is the low income area and there are a lot of homeless people walking the streets but not one of them bothered us, it was actually very sad to see how desperate they were. It's located right round the corner from great shopping and the union square where the hop on bus starts and easy walking distance to china town. The hotel is newly refurbished and the restaurant not open yet but it's so close to hundreds of great restaurants so wasn't a issue. Great room as we were out all day sightseeing and the bed was the best I've slept in for a hotel. Great shower! For location and price it's excellent and I wouldn't be put off by the area and would definitely go back.

Unpleasant stay

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: NIL
Cons: Renovation
Location: The location is very convenience for shopping and eatery places
The room is dark, and the air conditioning is extremely noisy! I booked and pre-paid through. Expedia and got charged again from the hotel and was told that I have consumed the snack bar for 4.00 which I never! I need to call in for a refund... Bad experience and will never stay again!!

Overall a great stay

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Pros: Staff were approachable and professional. Hotel lobby was nicely maintained.
Cons: Room size is small... The hotel breakfast provided could be further improved in terms of variety as well.
Location: Excellent location. Close to BART and located close in proximity to many shops at Union Square.
Arrived three hours prior to check in time and the receptionist kindly provided us with complimentary early check in as room was ready. She was professional, friendly and welcoming.

Hotelzimmer nicht für 2 Personen geeignet.

Posted 15-Sep-2016
Pros: Lage
Cons: Ja. Das Frühstück
Location: Zentral

A place to sleep...

Posted 06-Sep-2016
Positive: upon arrival we were highly impressed with the lobby, dispite removations on the restaurant. Frist impressions of lobby and staff were wonderful. The location was just steps away from union square, shopping and the tour buses. Our room was quiet from the noise in the hallway, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The room was trying to be modern and seemed clean. Negative: The room was the size of a show box, barely big enough for two suitcases open. Our view was that of four other room windows and four walls. The air conditioning was extremely loud, along with the fan, but if you didn't have it on it was sooo hot. The small of the room was horrible, that of a very strong room freshener. There was a very sad looking free breakfast and call girls, both to greet you in the lobby. we had no hot water on the last day, claims someone flipped the heater off or something.
