Very convenient hotel

Posted 24-Feb-2017
This hotel is very close to the BART station, cable car turnaround, theatre district and Union Square. The hotel has been recently renovated and rooms are clean and pleasant. The only downside is the lounge next door which can be noisy at night. It wasn't a significant issue on the 5th floor where our rooms were, but may be more of a problem on lower floors.

Good location but street noise from club.

Posted 22-Feb-2017
Good location to Union Square, other sites and parking garage. Knowing most rooms in SF older hotels are tiny, this was OK. Except room smelled like dirty laundry and, Did not like the night club next door. Don't understand why they would put a family in the closest room to a street and night club! When smoke alarm sounded a young lady, staff, was very kind with directions out and back. She was the only staff I heard anything from about the incident though.

Small but clean and convenient place in DT SF

The room was small. But it was clean and reasonably priced. Considering the place, I would stay again in future.

Hotel Fusion

Posted 12-Feb-2017
I love the location of this hotel. The standard rooms are small but good enough if you are traveling alone like myself. The lobby bar was pretty empty most of my stay. The staff was cordial as I passed through. They have a cool club called Infusion opened Wed-Sat. Great DJ, top 40 and hip hop.

Perfect location, contemporary decor & QUIET!

Posted 27-Jan-2017
Pros: Location, Location, Location Quiet Customer focused staff
Cons: Nothing, especially liked the added safety of a key being required to access the elevator.
Location: One block from famous Powell Cable Car station., Walking distance to Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Westfield Mall, BART and MUNI.
In the heart of SF, walking distance to most everything and a block from all transportation modes. Renovated with clean contemporary design, and amazingly quiet. I had a view of Ellis (busy street) but the dual pane windows blocked out ALL noise. Staff welcoming, friendly and eager to assist. Bathroom comfortable with good products, linens fresh and high quality. Bar and restaurant friendly. A gem that sadly will become so popular I bet I won't get as good a deal for much longer! Already booked another stay.

Overall, the hotel was good and clean, especially given the price at this week. The only issue I had was the constant noise from some machine outside of the hotel building.

Pros: Great location - very close to metro and BART station so easy to go to and from airport and see main sights.
Great Location, clean rooms. Breakfast is simple but very adequate to get you started for the day. Breakfast was included in the price

Pros: Location
I needed a Hotel at a reasonable cost for two nights. Fusion was well located and affordable. The room, although small was perfectly adequate and clean. Very helpful staff. Great time.

Wouldn't stay again.

We were told via phone that the renovations were done, only to arrive to find otherwise. The front desk does NOT want to be of help. We had to flip our own mattress. The cleaning staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, but overall it's just not worth it. We had a king suite which was small, but we didn't mind because most rooms are small in San Francisco. One day they shut down the elevator with no warning. My husband (who has bad knees) asked the front desk why we were told the renovations were complete, when in fact, they had many renovations going on, he was then told "If you don't like it, you can check out early." Overall not a bad deal for what we paid, but with so many charming boutique hotels in the same area we will not be back. The lack of friendliness and the OUTRIGHT LIES will be what keeps us from returning or referring!
