Having 2 pools was great. We used the indoor one most as the outdoor one was unheated and therefore cold in September. It was also green on arrival and never quite got completely clean. The indoor pool was great and the adults did use the hot tub and sauna . The sitting room was great with pool table and table football. The kitchen had all the equipment that was needed. The house has been well used and could do with some maintenance . This did mean that with a big family party we could behave like we were in our own house so it was very relaxing . Very peaceful countryside setting . Lovely patio to sit and eat outside. Nearest baker is 5 minutes by car. Gourdon is the nearest town with a supermarket (15 min), Sarlat 30 min. Canoeing on the Dordogne in Grolejac 20 minutes . There is also a nice lake there . Down-sides: no facilities in the village so prepare by shopping before arriving, and the pool is not within the grounds but a 10-15 minutes walk away (I think the write-up is misleading).
