"This property was good for my wife and I. Everything we needed was available. The location is good with a lovely stroll along the water into the town centre. Parking outside on the road was not ideal and it was our 3rd day before we could park directly outside of the house. Only downside was the based bedroom, this is not suitable for use. It is noisy due to hum of fans and dehumidifer that was needed to keep the damp smell down. Great house if you are looking for one bedroom."

"A good base from which to explore the area. The shops and beach were within walking distance and we enjoyed lots of walks with the dog along the beachfront. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the outside space was secure and safe for our dog and cat. An enjoyable stay, thank you!"

"Great house with plenty of space - open plan downstairs works very well and all of the bedrooms are a good size. Comfortable an clean and a good base for exploring the island. Good boulangerie and a fantastic market every day within 5 minutes walk of the house. Wonderful fish and plentiful fruit and cheese."

"Maison de pêcheur, nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans cette maison avec des petits enfants et un grand chien, le terrain est bien clos, idéal pour que les enfants puissent jouer en toute sécurité ainsi que le chien. Ce qui est appréciable est de pouvoir stationné le véhicule dans une cour juste à côté de l'entrée. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et conseillé, très bon séjour. Merci."

"The property is very clean and modern, recently refurbished. It is not huge but comfortable with quality fittings and furniture everywhere. The main bedroom has a big bed (queen I think) and outdoor access via doors but no other window so you do need to leave open for air at night. A fan would be great. The only comment would be more clothes storage would be a benefit throughout. There are a couple of shelves and hanging but no drawers. Upstairs is two singles with a very low ceiling. Ideal for...

"Wonderful spacious house and garden in a a great location. Marsilly has many facilities including a supermarket, boulangerie, take away pizza shop and bar. La Rochelle is also only a 20 minute drive away."

"Our 2nd visit to the property. Easy travelling to either quiet unspoiled beaches or more busy tourist places. Hosts next door if any problems arose, we had none. Will probably visit again."

"On arrival and throughout the week there was building works noise from next door. Also a screeching peacock (s). There is no view."

"Dans ce gîte il ne manque rien pour passer de bonnes vacances au calme. La situation est idéale pour visiter l'ile à vélo. Location à proximité du gîte, au centre village de Dolus et 5mn à pied un intermarché, boulangerie, poissonnerie ect. La maison est très agréable, bien agencée, literie bonne qualité, propre, très beaux mobiliers de jardin. Accueil très chaleureux, en bref séjour agréable, nous recommandons."

"Nous avons passés une semaine dans cette charmante maison et nous en sommes ravis. La maison a été entierement rénovée et bien equipée. Elle est idealement située à 3 min à pied du port de la Cotiniere et à 5 min des commerces. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et d'une grande gentillesse. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"Logement très propre, chambre bien aménagée. Dommage que la vue se limite à une façade de maison. Il manque un petit abri pour les vélos. Heureusement qu'il n'a beaucoup plu. Logement très ensoleillé l'après midi. Le coin cuisine n'est pas très fonctionnel. Dommage ! Je recommande pour la tranquillité."
