"The staff were excellent throughout our stay; genuinely welcoming, exceptionally helpful, and kind. Breakfast was very enjoyable, and the attentive service made it an especially pleasant experience. The room itself was spacious, clean and the mattress was very comfortable. However, we found the overall layout and design somewhat underwhelming. In particular, the headboard and the area behind the bed appeared to prioritise aesthetics over practicality, offering insufficient support and comfort when sitting up to read or relax in bed. Our main disappointment was the exceptionally high price, which we felt was difficult to justify given the overall experience. Furthermore, Expedia's booking confirmation did not clearly indicate whether breakfast was included, creating unnecessary confusion. The rate charged through Expedia was also excessive, and I would therefore be reluctant to book through them again. Overall, the warmth and professionalism of the staff were undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room's design and the disappointing value for money prevented the experience from fully meeting our expectations"

"Staff excellently helpful courteous and friendly. Bed and mattress first rate. Net curtains at the window would be a good idea as the apartments opposite look straight into the room. And a tpoilet paper roll holder/ shelf in front of the sitter would be helpful in the WC. The supper we had was poor; the duck dreadful - overcooked and very tough, the spaghetti adorned by some very poor and tasteless cheese, with no extra cheese offered."
