"Tierra viva was probably my favorite hotel in our 12 night honeymoon- i cant recommend it enough. Book room 504 (junior suite), trust me! It has a large balcony overlooking the urabamba river, with a view both up and down the river. Staff met us at the train station, which i didnt expect, but allowed us to ditch our bags and get to our tour on time. Staff also drew maps for me, gave us drinks and let us check out late. They also have a filtered water bottle filler in th lobby, the only one ive seen in peru- this saves a lot of headache managing water. "

"We stayed here after the Sacred Valley between trips on the Inca Trail and Ausangate. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice. There is a restaurant on site and laundry across the street that is open 24 hours. We didn’t have a chance to explore the area around the hotel but it does seem like a very central location in Cusco."

"I can’t say enough about how great of an experience it was to stay at Antigua. The staff felt like a family and everyone was extremely nice and polite. The common areas were well maintained and the garden view was excellent ( we were on the 2nd floor). We were in Cusco for the week of Corpus Criste and heard only a slight bit of the fireworks and celebrations. Staying at Antigua was a great experience that offered the perfect location to walk all around the San Blas area ( we even hiked to Cristo Blanco)! Great place!!"
