"We booked our stay at the Hythe Imperial hotel to celebrate our Golden Wedding, and we weren’t disappointed! Everything about our stay was perfect, from the kindness and courtesy of staff, to the surprise congratulations left in our room to see upon our return! We will definitely be returning. "The hotel is looking dated and tired but the rooms are absolutely spotlessly clean, having everything you need. Lovely powerful shower, clean bathroom. So close to the beach and local bars. Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. Nice to be able to sit in the outside are and have a nice drink in the sunshine."

"Stayed at hotel for 2 nites to celebrate anniversary Room was lovely comfy pillows beautiful roomy bathroom all very clean Have never had such thick fluffy huge towels Food was good Staff were outstanding especially Oliver so friendly professional hard working Location is beautiful on the beach Would definitely recommend a stay"

"On the whole our stay was a very pleasant experience. Our room was light airy and cool in the heatwave. The beds clean and comfortable. Decent shower/ bath. Not sure if the small towel in the bathroom was a hand towel or bathmat. The only disappointment was the very basic breakfast, just flake or some round cereal. No muesli, yoghurt, and NO fruit. Bananas are the cheapest fruit going. The cooked breakfast, made to order was good . Nice to have use of the large garden. Few minutes walk to the sea with pasing buses to take you back up the hill "
