Nice hotel but expensive

Posted 30-Aug-2015
Pros: Staff were excellent.
Cons: Free internet and a coffee machine in the rooms.
Location: Convenient for city centre.
This is a very nice hotel but for the price free internet and a coffee machine should have been available in the rooms.

Holiday of a lifetime

Posted 29-Aug-2015
Pros: The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. A real highlight was the breakfast served overlooking the pool, with an array of delicious options.
Location: Although set outside the main city, the hotel is truly an oasis of calm and the frequent shuttle into central Rome was another real positive.
A wonderful few nights spent in the Rome Cavalieri, which is possibly one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. With our room on the 7th Floor and access to the Imperial Club Room (as recommended by other reviewers, although this is initially expensive upgrade but it is certainly worth it, for access to the food and drinks served throughout the day), the views over the city were spectacular. The swimming pool was a very good size and immaculately clean and maintained. With the Imperial room access this and the sun loungers were also included and again are a real benefit to the upgrade, rather than spending separately. This truly is a very special hotel and the perfect base to visit Rome. So much so that on our first night I proposed to my girlfriend on our hotel balcony overlooking the city and will certainly be returning back in years to come.

FANTASTIC BUT FAR FROM CENTER

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Pros: Pretty much everything except the cost of breakfast and rules about dining in the restaurant if you just want to get dessert. Free Shuttle
Cons: A cheaper alternative to breakfast, sorry don't feel like spending 75 dollars on a few croissants and coffee. In room coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location: Location is not ideal, but the free shuttle service was pretty good. Except it is weak on early afternoon rides if you decide to sleep in.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel 4 nights on our honeymoon and we had a blast. The bars were great, the food was great, the restaurant was great and the service was wonderful. It was a bit on the higher end of price for Rome but it was worth it. The service at the restaurant was impeccable. They gave us a free dessert when they found out we were on our honeymoon. I wish I could find a place in Boston that treated us with such respect. The only complaint I have is that we wanted to eat a dessert and wine in the restaurant one night and they would not seat us unless we were getting a full meal and told us to go upstairs to the lounge area far from the music we wanted to listen to. We had eaten the main portion of our dinner at another restaurant there prior so we thought this was a ridiculous rule. I thought it was stupid and by the look of some of the staff there, they agreed. The pool bar was awesome, great drinks and very friendly staff, though should have been open a bit later.

Great stay to visit Rome. Luxurious hotel.

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Pros: It's luxury, the buffet breakfast and the spa. The facilities and bar were great. The staff were all great, especially the concierge and reception.
Cons: The mini bar prices were too high. The inroom dining food was too expensive and the delivery fee was not good.
Location: The location was great, being located high in Rome with great views of the city and being close to the Vatican and the attractions in Rome.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were amazing and the facilities were really good.

Best hotel location for stunning views over Rome.

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Luxurious hotel in every way, the stunning views are worth the ten minute free taxi shuttle into the city centre. Could not fault this hotel in any area. If working to a budget pay a little more upfront for the imperial rooms.

Posted 23-Aug-2015
Pros: Gym, spa and pool complex were outstanding. Shuttle bus and taxi service to city centre.
Location: The hotel is a 10-minute taxi ride to the main historical centre
This hotel offers exceptional service and has an outstanding gym, spa and pool complex. It's expensive, but worth every penny.

An amazing experience

Posted 21-Aug-2015
Pros: Everything. The breakfast by the pool was a great experience. The gym was also great.
Cons: I wish there was free WiFi in the rooms and I wish the television had more free english language options.
Location: Cavalieri has several restaurants, but they were all closed in August.
The room was gorgeous and huge. The breakfast buffet was so large it was overwhelming. You do pay top dollar, but you get top dollar service. The hotel is filled with beautiful artwork and the view from the odd numbered rooms is breathtaking. A shuttle runs every hour to take you to the heart of Rome and a taxi ride to Vatican city is ten minutes and less than ten euro.

Amazing, great shuttle service throughout the day

Posted 21-Aug-2015
Cons: Pricing on food and drink extremely high; e.g. bottle of water 6 Euro compared to approximately 2 Euro elsewhere
Hotel room amazing. Excellent professional staff.
