Luxury hotel in Rome

Pros: The size and quality if the rooms
Cons: The incidentals can get expesnive
Location: Not much to do within walking distance but there is a little town square that you can go to for a pizza or snack.
Although the hotel is a little further away from the city center the rooms are fantastic and maybe some if the best I have ever seen.

Hotel fraudulantly charges money on credit cards

Pros: The atmosphere in the lobby isn't bad, if you don't think about the fact they are preparing such a place to steal money from their guests.
Cons: The whole management needs to change or the owner needs to sell the hotel. How can you live comfortably as you steal money from your guests? shame
Location: The hotel is far away from the center, you need to use their claustrophobic shuttle services or pay your entire fortune to taxi cabs or rent a car
Front desk staff see you nothing more than how a fisherman see's his fish. The Folks working at the Cashier's desk near the front desk is financially praying on tourists charging them extra for no reason. we receieved 6 fraudulant charges on our room, which they still have not fixed as I write this. If you are stupid enough to choose this hotel for your vacation in rome I suggest you ask for the room's account print out everyday, so that you check and catch them as they try to fleece or steal money from you. The City tax is 7 euros per person, so 3 people for a week we payed 147 euros extra for that. We paid so much extra for a room with a 'city' view but really all they did was just give us a room two levels higher than the rooms with "park" views. So they conned us even there. Also they gave us two separte beds for me and my wife and when we asked for a normal bed they acted as if I was asking for the most difficult thing in the planet. oh sir bonasera not possible. It's also super strange that there was a whole group of people complaining at the cashier's office about extra charges on their cards without their consent. They gave us a huge headache with these extra charges and ruined our trip. They tried to squeeze out every single dollar out of the credit card we gave them. The hotel is located far away from the center you need to rent a car or use their awful shuttle. We rented a car and we were suprised to see that we had to pay 5 euros extra for parking every day.

Welcome to The Bank of Rome Cavalieri

Pros: The hotel is a complete financial scam. Be careful, I have traveled the world i know what real Italian hospitality is. Cavalieri is far from it
Cons: They could be careful not to spill their black hairs in my bedsheets. me and my wife have blonde hair so why is there black hair when we check in?
Location: Far far far from the city, you have to pay 40 euros or so for a decent uber ride. the complimentary shuttle bus is like a refrugee bus in middle east
For the first time in my life after a return trip when my flight landed i kissed the ground as everyone stared at me. I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. First of all this hotel is primarily more like a corrupt bank than a hotel accomodation. What type of hotel has a huge "Cashier"'s Desk bigger than the reception desk at its lobby with tens of people lined up to file disputes on their room charges. Well, the Bank of Rome Cavalieri is that type of place. Its a corrupt bank not a hotel. Though I paid for my room through expedia, they took my card an put a huge holding fee on it. On new Years I paid 600 euros for my wife, myself and her mom before the New Years event. Than I figured they charged me a few extra times in case I don't pay for it, after i paid for it. Sounds like a joke? No, I am not even finished. I complained after i figured it out, they told me i have to pay the city tax in order to fix the mistake, so I pay 147 euros in cash for city tax, and guess what happens? They charge me three more times 350 euros each for no reason. I figured this out in the middle of my tour in the city so i return again to the "Bank" of Cavalieri to ask whats going on. They make up some BS and usher me out of the lobby with a 10 euro SPA entrance gift for my wife. They also charged me for the minibar a bunch of drinks which we didn't drink, later they fixed it because i complained. But if I was a silent guy they would not have fixed nothing. Think twice before you come to this hotel

Staff was lovely, hotel was the best and the people in Rome kept complementing us when asked where we were staying.

The hotel has a great view of the city and beautiful grounds. It is quietly luxurious and close enough to everything you want to see.

Top of the line Hotel. Worth every penny. Lovely art, Lovely decor, slightly outside of the center of Rome but easily within reach of everything one wants to see.

Location: Concierge recommended great local restaurants.
Wonderful service, restful surroundings after a hard day of touring. Concierge staff it terrific!

We were upgraded upon arrival and the staff were amazing and friendly! They offer a free shuttle to the city center which was very convenient to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.
