"Spacious room, large bathroom with good shower. Carpet marked, tea / coffee table did not match, looked like it came from a junk shop. Food was good & reasonably priced. Restraunt service could be slow at times."

"Brilliant property, stayed here with our staff for the weekend while racing at Croft. Not far from the circuit, beautiful little pub, huge rooms, very spacious and clean. Found a little gem with this place and we will be back 100%."

"Very friendly staff. Amazing lovely hotel. Very open and relaxed, outside is a nice area to sit and has an area where they have games / activities which is great. England were playing and they’d set up a conference room with a screen. Dinner and bar area clean. Dinner was great. We don’t have breakfast. Room was a suite which was lovely. Only downside is no aircon nor a fan so it was very hot in the room. Overall great stay but if you can ass fans to rooms it’d help."

"The bedroom was very nicely fitted out apart from the sink hot tap not working due to the retaining nut being adrift. The communal areas need some maintenance as carpets/ chairs were thread bare and areas dirty not helped by the fact it is so dark in many areas of the bar. Very quaint and rustic but this doesn't mean it should be dirty"

"A really warm welcome from staff for us and our dog. Small but comfortable room with loads of things for our dog too. Lovely breakfast brought to the door each morning. Only problem we had was struggling with the front door lock each morning when letting the dog out, it was a worry if there was a fire as it took a couple of minutes until we could get out"

Park Head Hotel

"On the plus, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and nicely furnished. The double bedroom with sofa bed I booked turned out to be a 2 double bedroom suite with a lounge with double sofa bed which was a wonderful surprise for myself and my 2 children and superb value. All the rooms had tvs and the bedrooms both had good tea / coffee facilities. The breakfast was also excellent - self service buffet with croissants, juice, cereals and good choice of hot freshly cooked breakfast. On the negative, as stated on website, the rooms are not air conditioned. We stayed during the heatwave. It was very hot. The receptionist was very helpful and gave me a powerful fan so I managed to get a good nights sleep. Our suite was in the main block next to the road. The hotel itself was very quiet. My bedroom was at the back overlooking the car park and reasonably quiet, the fan blocked out any noise. However, my children slept in the front bedroom & lounge/sofa bed next to the road. It was incredibly noisy all night. Tiredness and ear plugs helped. There is another accommodation block behind the car park so request that for a quieter stay. We were visiting the university so all the hotels were fully booked. Overall, for the spacious suite, cleanliness, helpful staff and breakfast, we thought this hotel should be 4 star not 3 star. But ask for a room away from the road otherwise it’s very noisy."

"Did not have a refrigerator as was advertised. Breakfast was nice. Hamburger was nice. The seabass was very tiny. Carpet in the room was clean. The manager of the restaurant was very helpful. Very convenient hotel right off the highway. Had hard to find elevators, free parking, and A/C."
