"Limited parking in an old fashioned Harveys pub with rooms & a restaurant. Stayed on a Thursday which transpires too be 'steak night' so menu was limited on the evening but what was offered seemed good quality at a reasonable price.
Would stay again if in the area.
Also, really helpful / friendly staff."

"Clean and comfortable room for a short stay. Adequate breakfast. Good location in terms of walking down to the seafront. Would note for travellers with accessibility issues the hotel is at the top of a very steep road so may not be suitable for mobility aid users."

"Room was pet friendly, staff were great, decor in room a bit tired but not enough to putting us off staying again,
Bathroom door could fit better.
Food was very good."

"This property is unbelievably beautiful and comfortable. Easy on street parking and close to the sea front and good restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend staying and experiencing Victorian living at its best."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a very relaxing, quiet stay after days of hectic sightseeing the coast. The beds were so wonderful! The breakfast was fresh with many options made to order. We had a lovely stay."

Medieval charm permeates this East Sussex village where you can explore the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey ruins. Wander through the historic High Street with its timber-framed buildings before visiting nearby Bodiam Castle for spectacular moated fortress views.
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The wide choices at breakfast were excellent. The only slight setback, in my opinion, was the lack of draught beer In the bar. I can't wait to return to this hotel and magical Rye.

I was really pleased with the Ship, vand a couple of other reviews didn't do it credit at all, in fact I thought the reviewer must have stayed at a different place . It was a last minute business trip, one night stay and the price and location were really good. I had booked a deluxe double but my meeting was called forward by one day so I had to rebook through here and only a standard was available that night, that having been said the room was fine. A little dubious at first, hidden away behind a bar but couldn't have been more wrong. Met by Gemma who was very attentive and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable.
Actually this was true for all of the staff, all very friendly and attentive, The bar itself also great decorated and furnished to a high standard and very clean and tidy.
The only slight negative being the room that we were allocated was very hot and couldn't sleep, however mentioned it to the staff and they...

Myself and my partner stayed here on Saturday 27th February.
The room was really nice, shame there was no WiFi.The picnic breakfast was great.
The pub - The Bull was also very good. Tom was very welcoming and we had a great day there watching the rugby.
Our evening meal was also very good, quality food and a great atmosphere.
A really nice country pub with great staff and customers, we will definitely come back.

Fabulous characterful farm house with a friendly welcome. Great facilities with guest lounge and easy parking. Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Rivals the best breakfast available in the country.

We had a great stay at Moore House. The only downside was that the top floor got quite hot, but apart from that everything was excellent. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay again. Overall, a 5-star experience!

We only stayed for the one night but we will definitely be returning. The owner/staff are lovely, the room and amenities were superb and the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and it just tasted lovely. Can’t recommend this place enough. Hastings Old Town is a great little place too.

I chose to stay here for two nights while I was visiting Glyndebourne. Carol and Ceri were so friendly and welcoming. They took such good care of me and made sure that I wanted for nothing. The room I was given was large and extremely comfortable with a private bathroom that overlooked the beautiful
garden. Breakfast was always delicious and served in the conservatory. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

I loved my stay here and would definitely return. We had room 1 which was stunning and featured a roll top bath. The huge bay windows gave a beautiful view of nature. The weather had been very hot but with the aircon and giant bed, I slept like a log!! The staff were all very helpful and breakfast was yum.

We had an amazing stay and the hosts were very attentive from the minute we arrived to when we left and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and really clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. We will definitely visit again and this would be the only place we would stay in Eastbourne.
