The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Providing one (average quality) bath towel and one hand towel (plus bed linen) at (an additional) £10 each person seems somewhat odd given how many...

"Extremely comfortable home with a great sense of history. I booked for four days to take my four adult children and my teenage grandson away to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. We now have some very happy memories of our stay in Ludlow."

"Fantastic facilities and plenty of space for a multi-generational holiday. Also plenty of parking for four cars. The pool is more of a plunge pool but we expected that and the setting in the orchard was really nice. The hosts were very welcoming, and for us the clincher was the electric car charger which was so convenient. We may book again next year!"

The location is great with the quiet beauty of the countryside but easy access to town and other places we wanted to see (RAF museum, Shrewsbury, Bridgenorth, Long Mynd… just to name a few)! "A really nice property with plenty of space and has good access to places to visit. Excellent facilities for dogs with plenty of open spaces and public footpaths nearby. The owners are really nice and were quick to respond to the queries we had. A lovely welcome pack greeted us which was much appreciated."

"Was informed 3 days before stay that we would be staying in a different house to listing, which for us was ok. Clean bedding, comfortable beds. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". Clothes hanging on doors, shoes left where they had just taken them off, generally a untidy house."

"Good size property for large group of guests. 4 decent size bedrooms with double beds in each room. The matress on the beds were not very comfortable and shower area in the upstairs toilet needs updating. Host communicated well however did not see to the flush not working on the downstairs toilet. Served a purpose for our stay and overall quite satisfied."
